Capitols Pick up Second Shutout of Season, Defeat U17s 4-0
March 28, 2024 - The Capitols hit the road on Thursday to kick start a three-game weekend against the NTDP U17s. The game became the team's second straight four-goal win, both against the NTDP U17s as Madison moves within two points of Youngstown in the standings. Scoring for Madison in the contest were Rainers Rullers(10), Andrew Kuzma(25, 26), and Jack Brandt. Madison went 2/5 on the man advantage in the game striking on two first period power play goals. 285 USHL Alumni Skate into 2024 NCAA Postseason Tournament
March 28, 2024 - The NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament gets underway Thursday and 285 United States Hockey League alumni dot the rosters of the 16 teams vying for the 2024 national championship. Boston College, Michigan and Michigan State have 22 former USHL players skating in the postseason. Wisconsin, Western Michigan, Denver and North Dakota all have 20. Madison has three games in three days as they gain the game in hand back from six of the seven other teams in the conference.
