April 19, 2024 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and AHL's Hershey Bears, announced today that Washington has recalled goaltender Mitchell Gibson and re-assigned goaltender Garin Bjorklund from South Carolina to Hershey. Both goaltenders will be available for their respective clubs for their playoff runs.

April 15, 2024 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The ECHL announced on Monday that Stingrays forward Austin Magera has been named the 2023-24 recipient of the John A. Daley Memorial Trophy as the ECHL Rookie of the Year.
This award is presented annually to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition at the "A.A." level or higher, as determined by a vote of ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors, and media members.
