Salt Lake Bees, Los Angeles Angels Extend Affiliation Through 2022

August 13, 2018 - SALT LAKE CITY - The Los Angeles Angels and Salt Lake Bees announced a two-year extension of their Player Development Contract today, covering the 2021-2022 seasons. The Bees and Angels partnership will run at least 22 years as the two teams first became affiliated in the 2001 season. "Salt Lake City is a town that we really enjoy being in. Walsh Has Four Hits, Save in Bees Win

August 13, 2018 - SALT LAKE CITY - Jared Walsh collected four hits, three RBIs and the save for the Bees in a 9-7 win over Tacoma on Sunday night. Walsh terrorized the Rainiers all series, collecting 12 RBIs in the four-game series and became the first Salt Lake position player to earn a save in the 25-year history of the franchise. August 12, 2018 - SALT LAKE CITY - After winning the first two games of a four-game set, the Salt Lake Bees were held off by the Tacoma Rainiers in 4-3 loss Saturday night at Smith's Ballpark. Trailing 3-1 in the seventh inning, the Bees cut the deficit in half on a triple by Luis Rengifo to bring home Joe Hudson. Salt Lake then tied it up on a single by Matt Thaiss to score Rengifo. August 10, 2018 - SALT LAKE CITY - In front of a near sell-out crowd of 14,149 the Salt Lake Bees rolled past the Tacoma Rainiers 10-4 Friday night at Smith's Ballpark.
