2018 Isobel Cup Champion Metropolitan Riveters Host Home Opener Saturday at Prudential Center

October 18, 2018 - The defending Isobel Cup champions, the Metropolitan Riveters, will take on the Minnesota Whitecaps in their home opener at Prudential Center on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. The game will feature the return of Olympic gold medalist Amanda Kessel, the home debut of former Devils defenseman Randy Velischek as Riveters head coach, and the unveiling of the team's 2017-18 Isobel Cup Championship banner. Burt, Pride Launch Season with 5-1 Win over Riveters

October 13, 2018 - Behind goals from five different players, the Boston Pride kicked off their season with a 5-1 win over the Metropolitan Riveters on Saturday night in their home opener at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston. The defending Isobel Cup champion Riveters (0-3) scored first, but the Pride netted five unanswered goals, with four coming in the third period, to take the decisive victory.
