Bristol Announces New Manager for 2024 Season
April 15, 2024 - The Bristol State Liners are excited to announce that Todd Steverson will be the manager for the 2024 season. Todd was born in Los Angeles, California on November 15, 1971 and attended Culver City High School and went on to play for the Sun Devils while attending Arizona State University. He was an outfielder who threw and batted right handed. Todd comes to us with a tremendous amount of experience. Boyd Sports Facilities to Host Bristol State Liners in 2024
April 12, 2024 - SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - Boyd Sports facilities will play host to the Bristol State Liners for the 2024 season. The Bristol State Liners were initially set to have a brand-new stadium built to call home for the 2024 season, but due to unforeseen circumstances the stadium will not be completed in time for the start of the season. April 12, 2024 - Today, Bristol Baseball Inc. is announcing that the Bristol State Liners for 2024 will be playing a hybrid-season game schedule as we continue to work towards a new facility in Bristol, TN for 2025. The State Liners will be operating their home clubhouse operations at Tusculum University's state-of- the-art Pioneer Park, home of the Greeneville Flyboys, and will play several of our home games there. March 28, 2024 - The Chicago White Sox announced Wednesday that right-handed reliever Jordan Leasure made the team's Opening Day roster. Leasure pitched for the Elizabethton River Riders in 2021 and is the first Appalachian League player to reach the Major Leagues since the league rebranded as a summer collegiate league in '21. Leasure, 25, secured a spot on Chicago's Opening Day roster after posting a 1.93 ERA in 10 relief appearances during Spring Training.
