WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins used a clutch goal from captain Garrett Wilson to catapult past the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 5-4, at PPL Center on Friday night. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (4-1-0-0) was caught in a dramatic, back-and-forth match with its intrastate rival. Ice Flyers Win 4-3 in a Shootout against the Mayhem in Season Opener

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers won their first game of the season against the Macon Mayhem 4-3 after going to a shootout. Pensacola's goals were scored by Matt Harrington and Ryan Marcuz (2). The shootout goals were also scored by Harrington and Marcuz. Macon's goals were scored by John Siemer, Jake Faiella and Stathis Soumelidis. Their lone shootout goal was scored by Dakota Klecha. Crunch Shutout Devils, 4-0

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Goaltender Connor Ingram stopped all 27 shots for the Syracuse Crunch in a 4-0 victory over the Binghamton Devils tonight at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. Andy Andreoff opened scoring and led the team with two goals on the night, while Boris Katchouk tallied his first professional goal.
