Lancers Stomp out Phantoms, 8-1

Youngstown, OH -- The Lancers headed east to take on the Youngstown Phantoms Thursday night. Thursday was the first time these two teams have faced off. The Lancers came into the matchup with a 28-11-2-1 record with a spot at first place in the USHL. Youngstown was coming in with a big sweep last weekend over the Waterloo Black Hawks. Lakeland Magic Acquire Byron Mullens from Sioux Falls Skyforce

The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, announced today that they have acquired NBA veteran Byron Mullens and a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NBA G League Draft from the Sioux Falls Skyforce in exchange for Lakeland's own second-round draft pick in 2018. Mullens, a 7-0, 270-pound center, has appeared in 189 career NBA games (66 starts) for four different teams.
